Mount Abu is a popular hill station in the Aravalli Range in Sirohi district of Rajasthan state in western India near the border with Gujarat. The mountain forms a distinct rocky plateau 22 km long by 9 km wide.

Sunset Point Mount Abu


This is a typical sunset point no big deal, they have setup few viewing locations. IT gets pretty much crowded just before sunset time. Actual point is 1km away fro mot-arable road, so a walk is needed to reach this point. Small handcarts are available for hiring if you don't wish to walk. I enjoyed best tea there.



Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary



Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is located in one of the oldest mountain ranges of India, the Aravalli range. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1980.







Achalgarh Fort


Achalgarh is a fort situated at24°36′56.14″N 72°46′7.03″E about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) north of Mount Abu, a hill station in RajasthanIndia. The fort was originally built by theParamara dynasty rulers and later reconstructed, renovated and named as Achalgarh by Maharana Kumbha in 1452 CE,[1] one of the several forts built during his reign.
